2022 El Monte Promise Foundation Tamalada

Join us for a night of tasty tamales as we come together to celebrate our community, our accomplishments and to recognize our Outstanding Educators with the 2022 Bobby Salcedo Esperanza Award. The 19th Annual Tamalada will be an in person gala hosted at the Grace T. Black Auditorium, El Monte, CA.

This year we celebrate as we partnered with Mountain View School District, El Monte City School District, El Monte Union High School District and Rio Hondo College to launch our Roadmap to College, to provide grade-by-grade milestones to support students in their college-going goals. We also continue to support college savings and financial literacy for students and their parents. We are excited to announce we opened our 500th college savings account this year, because we know children who save for college are three times more likely to go to college and four times more likely to graduate college.
